Fire intercom DT985FF is a marine VHF radio communication device produced by the British company Entel. It can contact other ships or shore rescue agencies in emergencies to request rescue or provide rescue information.

DT985FF has IP68 waterproof performance and can float in water and withstand harsh marine environments; it can select 16 international life-saving channels in the very high frequency (VHF) band, of which channel 16 is the international distress and call channel, 70 Channel No. 1 is a digital selective calling (DSC) channel, and other channels are international life-saving channels.

The DT985FF can use a removable battery as a power source. Each wireless phone should be equipped with at least one backup battery for emergency use. The main battery should have a disposable seal to indicate that it has not been used.

It can display battery power, signal strength, channel number, DSC information and other status, and has functions such as low voltage alarm, automatic shutdown, automatic scan, automatic reply, etc.
