Precautions For The Use Of Marine Batteries

Oct. 31, 2018 I want to consult

1. Do not attempt to disassemble or assemble the Marine Battery. If the chemical damages the battery and causes the sulfuric acid to get on the skin or clothing, immediately wash it with water. If it splashes into the eyes, rinse it with plenty of water as soon as possible and seek medical attention immediately.

2. Do not mix batteries of different manufacturers or Maintenance Free Battery with different old and new levels in a group of batteries, otherwise the battery may be damaged.

3, it is best not to charge and discharge the battery in parallel, otherwise it may shorten the battery life.

4. If the battery needs to be stored, first fully charge the battery and then separate it from the charging device, then store the battery in a cool, dry, ventilated, clean place.

5. Do not use organic solvents and clean the battery with soapy water. The rags (cotton cloth) should be soft and clean. Do not use a rag (such as chemical fiber) that may generate static electricity to wipe the battery to avoid accidents.

6. The battery may explode in the fire and the battery may not be thrown into the fire. If the battery is ignited or exploding for any reason, a dry powder fire extinguisher (ABC dry powder) must be used.
